Alocasia Infernalis also known as Black Magic or Black Panther, is a rare jewel Alocasia native to the southeast Malaysian rainforests. The leaves appear a shimmery black-purple and deepen in colour as it matures. Infernalis, meaning "from hell" or "hellish", is an apt moniker for the firey colours of this plant. It prefers bright indirect sunlight, a well-draining soil mix, and only requires water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry.
