This stunning member of the Araceae family is a native of Southeast Asian jungle floors. Its foliage is an extremely deep velvety black-green with white or silver veins. The thick, leathery leaves grow up to 20cm long and 15cm wide. Like other Alocasia, it enjoys chunky, well-draining soil and a position that is warm and receives bright indirect sunlight.
