Saxifraga stolonifera ‘Tricolour', also called Variegated Strawberry Begonia, is a spreading, evergreen perennial with round, grey-green foliage with gorgeous creamy white to pink margins and maroon red undersides. Airy clusters of white flowers bloom on slender stems. As it matures it throws hanging "pups", similar to a spider plant, which can be left to hang over the pot or, if in a large pot, will root down and form a new plant, eventually filling the pot like a ground cover. The more light these are exposed to the brighter the pink will become however direct sunlight will burn the leaves. Prefers a moist soil with regular watering. Also a great candidate for a humid, closed terrarium!
